Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, combine pistachios, sugar, orange zest, and a pinch of salt. Pulse until finely ground but slightly chunky.
  3. Thaw the puff pastry according to package instructions. Roll each sheet out to about 1/8-inch thick on a floured surface.
  4. Cut the pastry into squares or circles. Place about one tablespoon of filling in the center of each piece, fold over, and seal edges with a fork.
  5. Beat an egg in a small bowl and brush it over each pastry for a golden finish.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Serve warm.
